It’s been a long time coming, but Mixx Maker is finally here!
If you haven’t seen Mixx Maker in action, a Mixx is a mixtape that you make with your friends on Facebook. With Mixx, your friends are all you need when you need to get music for that party. Or, that road trip you want to take next summer. Or, those tender moments when no one’s around and you really need a good cry.
Here’s how it works:
When you’re creating a Mixx, you set a theme, like ‘music that we can use on our road trip’, ‘music that I could cry to during tender moments’, or ‘music that makes it okay to wear spandex’. Once a theme is set, your invite your friends to upload songs for the Mixx. At the end, you have a tailor-made mixtape made by you and your friends – not just a list of songs put together by a computer algorithm.
