Hello everyone:
Have an idea that would make Mixx Maker even better? Post them here!
Here's what we've come up with and heard from you guys so far:
* Pop-up version of the Mixx player
* Switching Mixxs on profiles
* Multiple concurrent uploads
* Better song ordering
* Mixx previews on the "My Mixxs" and "My Friends' Mixxs" pages
* Private Mixxs
* In-Mixx commenting system
* Different size players (One for the side-profile column)
* Billboard images (like the ones on the Opus Player)
* Song downloads and purchases
* More Mixx and song stats (Top Songs Mixx'd,Top Bands Mixx'd, etc.)
* A listing on MixxMaker.com for all Mixxs
If you'd like to add anything else, just hit reply and let us know!

I would like to see more of the mixxs on mixxmaker.com I would also like to see this app on Bebo and MySpace!
* Managing your previous
* Managing your previous upload list (Edit / Delete, please! My list's getting messy!)
* Different sorts for your previous upload list (Also messy.)
* When you're deleting Mixxs, it'd be nice not to be kicked back to the first page of your Mixxs. (e.g. You're on page three, and delete a Mixx on page three, but once it's deleted, you appear back on page one.)
* Mixx ordering. It'd be nice if you could sort alphabetically in addition to chronologically. A manual sort would also be nice.
* When you're on a friend's Mixx, there should be a link pointing back to the listing of their Mixxs.
* A status box at the top of the "My Mixxs" page that says what Mixx is currently on your profile
* A status box at the top of the "My Mixxs" page that acts as a mini-feed of what's happen in Mixx Maker

Whenever I or someone else gets a chance, these forums need to be fixed so they don't always say that all posts are new posts...
will other file types ever
will other file types ever be able to be uploaded? if so, is there any kind of timetable?
Hi Eric: Wish I could give
Hi Eric:
Wish I could give you a proper answer on this, but Mr. Greg Field (our developer) is off to a land where there are beautiful beaches and warm sun.
I can tell you our first priority is moving Mixx Maker over to Bebo to spread some Mixx love. However, it's become very apparent that other file formats are important. I don't know what sort of development undertaking it is, but I can tell you we've got it on our radar.
cool... tx!
cool... tx!
I'm listening to "Music that
I'm listening to "Music that would be great to blog to", and I'm DYING for a repeat function!
When you've added a song,
When you've added a song, with a message on why you've added it, wouldn't it be great to see that message come up in the mini-feed as well?
I think the different music
I think the different music formats, if possible, will work one of two ways. Either we're going to need to convert the files on our end, meaning that your upload won't be immediately playable (not an option I think we want) or we will need the player itself to support multiple formats. I'll need Loren to confirm wether that's a possibility :) Either way, if you look at the earlier postings, there is lots of items already on the to-do list :P Priorities will definitely need to be set.
PS - The beaches ARE beautiful and the sun is quite toasty down here :D
Apologies if this suggestion
Apologies if this suggestion has already been made, but I don't want to wade through all the comments...
I'd like to see, if possible, which of my friends are actually listening to the mix. Right now it just says who has added the app and who has added a track to the mix. There might be friends who don't want to add tracks but want to listen to the mix - that's cool. But for those who haven't added the app, and don't plan to, or don't like a particular mix, why not 'remove' them from that mix?
Also, the who-is-listening-to-this-mix-and-to-what-extent would be really cool info.
Hi guys. Nice app, but the
Hi guys. Nice app, but the "Music that..." thing is way too contrived. It's like the old "Yourname is..." on Facebook's status field. I don't want to have to come up with a wacky description for a mix every time I make one; what if I just want to call it "Funk"? Or "Experimental Mix #23"?
For that reason the app's not for me, and I'll be uninstalling it momentarily.
Best,
Earle.
Instead of the standard Mixx
Instead of the standard Mixx profile graphic a preview or more self-explanatory picture would be good.
And for some of my more 'special' friends a big sign that says: *click to listen and add songs to list!*
